Join Walk It Off NI for a new Walking Experience, opening your eyes to what lies under our noses, hidden from view, every day, connecting you with the extraordinary people and places of Lagan Valley.

#WALK Through the beautiful Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park with the UK and Ireland’s first #Peoplewalker. Wander through the burgeoning spring greens, stopping from time to time to absorb the beauty, breathe in the peace, bathe in the forest’s aromatic air and enjoy the conversation. Learn something about the area and the local connections to Linen Heritage. Come with Walk It Off NI to Hidden Huntley and get lost in the world behind the gates, a pace away from Belfast city life – just down the road.

#EAT A delightful lunch prepared by Antonia. Gaze at the vintage beauty of Huntley, her family home for three generations. The walk to Huntley takes 45 mins or so. We’ll lunch and visit the walled garden there for about an hour before we head to the Studio for the ‘Active Creation’ workshop, filled with deliciousness.

#CONNECT & #CREATE Something wonderful to take home with you! Following lunch in Huntley’s kitchen, Antonia will demonstrate how, by using her gorgeous vintage fabrics and beautiful ribbons, you can make either a memo board to display your precious cards and photos or a wonderful key organiser that will not only be lovely but be useful every day. Make it, gift it, use it but LOVE it! ?

Time: 11.30am – 3.30pm Meeting Point: Ability Cafe at The Stables at Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park.
