Walking & Food Tour Experiences in Ireland, Exciting Times!

Hidden Huntley is a Unique Walking and Food Tour Experience, offering your small group a peek into the life of a private organic Walled Garden, and a Gourmet Lunch served just for you in this peaceful outdoor oasis,

CULTURE, HERITAGE AND WALKING

Come and walk with me. Escape to Hidden Huntley’s secret walled garden nestled on the periphery of Belfast and Lagan Valley Regional Park. This unique food and walking tour will guide you on a trip through time, weaving a story of food, fabric, forest and family. While we walk through Lady Dixon park and breathe the aromatic forest’s air you will discover the authentic heritage of your seasonal lunch. From the soil to the side plate.

ARTISAN DINING ALFRESCO

On arrival at Huntley, its owner Antonia will serve you a delicious gourmet lunch showcasing her seasonal produce, organically grown in the earth around you. You will dine alfresco in the 200 year old walled garden, an oasis of peace and tranquillity. After dining we will explore this hidden place for an hour or so, guided by Antonia who will happily answer any of your questions.

Gourmet lunch menu

You will be greeted by a gourmet lunch and delicious delights in the gorgeous working garden, nestled within 200 year-old walls. Gaze at the vintage beauty of Huntley, home of the Bryson family for three generations. Here’s how gorgeous it looked in Spring.

Once we say goodbye to her, we will wend our way back to where it all started, Lady Dixon Park. Richer for the experience, a good feeling in our hearts. This walking experience is over a distance of 5k but can be revised to include a 10k walk so please ask at time of booking.

I will meet you at 11.30am on the agreed date by the Ability Cafe in Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park, Upper Malone Road, Belfast. (see the itinerary here)

I’m so looking forward to seeing you there!

Due to Covid19 I will be masked in enclosed spaces and prefer that you are too, except while eating or drinking. Social-Distancing is also required.

Please wear clothes and shoes suitable for walking in the forest and a small backpack might be useful for your water and layers – it can be muddy and hey, it’s Northern Ireland, it can be wet too!
